SEASON THREE
EPISODE 10315
“HEARTBEAT”
Written by Doug Heyes, Jr.
Directed by Terence H. Winkless
LOGLINE:
Palermo and “BAYWATCH” lifeguard LANI MacKENZIE launch a new program called M.E.R.I.T. that puts paramedics on bikes alongside the Pacific Blue units on the boardwalk. One of the paramedics, ALEXA CHOLAK, is an ex-girlfriend of Tony Palermo. After a bomb blast, she administers CPR to an injured Palermo — violating triage policy and putting her career and the M.E.R.I.T. program in danger when a woman dies at the scene.
T.C. and Chris investigate the activities of a radical environmental group suspected in several terrorist actions against a local oil company, including the bombing of an office park in which one of the company’s executives is killed.
